About Lainey Duan, Esq.

Lainey Duan, Esq. is the founder of Duan Law, a boutique immigration firm serving global entrepreneurs, executives, professionals, and creatives with strategic U.S. immigration counsel. She is a licensed attorney in California. With legal training spanning both the U.S. and China, Lainey brings a rare international perspective and a strategic mindset to every client engagement.

Lainey holds three law degrees from two countries. Lainey earned her first law degree at the prestigious Fudan University School of Law in Shanghai, where she received her LL.B.  She went on to obtain her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Iowa College of Law, followed by admission to the California Bar.  Committed to deepening her expertise in business-driven legal matters, she completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at UCLA School of Law, specializing in Business Law and Entertainment Law. 

With a deep understanding of global mobility and the unique needs of innovators and investors, Lainey provides more than legal guidance — she delivers tailored immigration strategy designed to support long-term success in the U.S.
